FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT
 RANK AND FILE FITNESS TM
PERSONAL TRAINING & BOOT CAMPS

How do I sign up now?

Go to our Contact Us page and let us know if you are interested in Personal Training, Bootcamps or both.  You can also email us at rankandfilefitness@yahoo.com.   Someone will contact you to discuss rates and programs.  Once you determine that Rank and File Fitness is for you, we will ask you to complete our online Intake Form and email you an invoice for convenient online payment through PayPal.  You can also make payments in person by check, cash or money order.

Returning clients simply need to email us of their intent to re-enroll in a program and we will email an invoice accordingly.

Do I have to commit to a Personal training contract?

No.  You can purchase a 3, 6, 10 or 20 session package that can be redeemed as you see fit.  The more sessions you buy at one time the more you will save in the long run.  We will only reserve time slots for sessions already paid for.  So if you wish to reserve the same time slot for an extended period of time, then we encourage you to make the necessary arrangements in advance.

If I buy a personal training package, can I share the sessions with someone else?

Yes.  Husband and wives often split sessions and so do friends.

Can I purchase a Gift Certificate for someone else?

Absolutely!  Our packages make a great gift, especially around the Holiday Season.

What type of discounts do you offer?

If you refer someone to us that signs up for a Bootcamp, you will be given a reduced rate on your next Bootcamp session.  Discounts on Personal Training packages vary.

Do you provide “In-Home” training services?

Yes.  However, an additional fee is charged for travel time.  Please contact us for more details.

Where do you normally train clients?

It varies.  We work out of several different studios and often times train at various gyms.  Home training is becoming increasingly more popular too.

What do I need to bring to Bootcamp?

You will need to bring one set of 3 lb, 5 lb, 8 lb or 10 lb hand weights and an exercise mat.  Consider your fitness level when choosing the proper weights to bring.   Sometimes Male clients think they should bring heavier dumbbells and always regret it when they do!

You will also need to bring water to keep yourself hydrated and a hand towel.  Please check the weather forecast daily and dress accordingly.  When it’s chilly outside, you should dress in layers as you will get warm very quickly!

What time do Bootcamps start and where are they held?

Bootcamps run from 5:00 - 6:00 AM and 6:15 - 7:15 AM, Monday thru Friday to allow people to get to work on time.  Sessions are held in various locations...depending on availability.  Sometimes they are conducted at schools, in open fields, parks, gymnasiums, parking lots and at gym facilities.  All Bootcamp participants will be given plenty of advance notice regarding location.

What happens with the Bootcamp sessions in the event of inclement weather?

If a particular Bootcamp location does not have a shelter or gymnasium, we will provide ponchos for everyone.  We train RAIN or SHINE unless it is storming heavily.  Further instructions on how to deal with bad weather will be given on the first day of Bootcamp.  If we are forced to cancel sessions due to bad weather, we will extend the camp accordingly.

Is there a refund policy?

There are no cash refunds, but if for some reason you must cancel your registration, we will offer you a credit towards future boot camps or personal training sessions.

What will I get out of it?

Dramatic improvements in your physical well-being and self confidence

Increased strength and endurance

Loss of inches and a firmer body

Motivation and inspiration from your instructors and fellow campers

Four weeks of fun and an improved quality of life

Will I be sore sometimes?

More than likely.  Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. Its part of the process that indicates you're improving!

Is there a diet program included?

Not at the present time.  However, we can certainly refer you to a good Nutritionist to help you understand how and what to eat in order to optimize your success.  We are currently considering an arrangement with a "meals on the go" company to provide pre-cooked, low-fat, healthy meals for interested clients

What kinds of people go to camp?

We get all types of participants at all fitness levels from beginners to very advanced.  Some people just need a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Others are athletic and want to improve their strength, speed and agility.  We accommodate all ages over 14 and recommend that participants have some “basic” exercise experience to ensure the flow of the class.

What is a typical day like at Bootcamp?

Because we strive to give you variety, it is difficult to say.  Your muscles get bored with the same exercise routines just like you do, so we try to keep workouts new and refreshing.  However, you can expect some light running, sprints, cardio intervals, weight training, obstacle courses, circuit training, core training, hiking and team challenges.

How soon will I see results?

Performance improvements can take place in as little as three days. Visual Improvements can take place within two to four weeks depending on your level of effort. The important thing to remember is that a proper and sensible diet MUST accompany any exercise plan in order to see optimal results.

What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $299 for 20 hours of instruction! That's only $14.95 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible rate?  It will be a lot cheaper in the long run to get healthy and fit now…versus paying for a medical prescription later!

What should I do after camp is over?

You can re-enroll in another Bootcamp or Personal Training session or you can work on all the new things you will learn.   Many clients need to be pushed and motivated by a Trainer in order to achieve desired results, but only you can make that determination for yourself.
